The Bible says nothing about “mermaids” because the term is usually used in popular culture. Depending on your point of view, mermaids in the Bible can symbolize good fortune or terrible luck.

Are mermaids mentioned in the bible in any way?

The ancient Far East likewise believed mermaids to be mythological creatures. According to mythology from antiquity, ladies of sea dragons are called mermaids.
This might be the reason behind the reports of mermaids from some seafarers. Hans Christian Andersen wrote “The Little Mermaid,” a well-known mermaid story, in 1836. Since then, it has gained popularity as a subject for literature, art, and even films.

2. They don’t represent good or bad fortune
The Bible does not always see mermaids as either auspicious or harmful omens. They are connected to lucky charms and marine animals known to bring misfortune.
Seeing a mermaid is fortunate because they are typically thought to be protective. Nevertheless, it is unclear from the Bible whether mermaids are a sign of good or ill luck.
Despite their bad reputation, mermaids are frequently regarded as stunning and alluring. Men are drawn to them by their amazing voice and enticing body. Certain ladies think that mermaids can seduce men and win their hearts.
Some women even think they can manipulate guys to acquire what they desire. Though this may be the case, mermaids are considered a bad luck emblem since they might bring about tragedies.
